ABOUT Dr. ZAUGG

Dr. Paul Zaugg is an optometrist joining our team at Bronte Optometry in 2021. He graduated from McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor of Science specializing in genetics. He then went on to obtain his doctorate in Florida at Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in 2012.

During clinical rotations, Dr. Zaugg gained extensive experience in the management of glaucoma and postoperative care at Eye Centers of South Florida in North Miami Beach. He was also trained in pediatric eye care, ocular disease and specialty contact lens fitting at The Eye Care Institute in Fort Lauderdale and Miami. He is skilled in fitting scleral lenses and LASIK post surgical care.

Dr. Zaugg enjoys volunteering in the community and has participated in several humanitarian missions to Haiti. In his free time he likes to go mountain biking and hiking with his family.
